As Spence Club Inc continues to grow and evolve, the Board is committed to strengthening our governance framework to ensure we operate with clarity, accountability, and best‑practice oversight. To support this, the Board has established the role of a Governance Officer. This role will focus on governance systems, risk oversight and board effectiveness, operating independently of the Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
The Board is pleased to confirm that the Governance Officer role will be assumed by Katarina Watkins, a current General Board Member, who will hold both positions. The introduction of this role reflects our commitment to strong leadership foundations and organisational maturity as we continue to empower and connect high‑achieving women across South Australia.
