The 2025 Spence Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday 15 October 2025, 5:30-6:30pm online via MS Teams.
Ahead of this important event, the Spence Club Board is asking our members for their vital support to elect new Board Members and shape the future of the Club, prior to the AGM.
It's easy, we promise, and should only take a few minutes of your time.
Why do we need our Members to vote?
According to our Constitution, vacant Spence Club Board Director roles are to be appointed each year at the AGM by Member vote, and we have a number of roles to be filled in 2025.
We’ve received 10 outstanding applications from high achieving women who’ve put up their hands to be your new Board Members from 2025-2027.
We need to reach a voting quorum ahead of the AGM, either by Members casting their own votes, or by Members nominating a proxy to vote on their behalf at the AGM.

How can you vote?
There are two ways to vote, and they don’t take long at all:
Option A (3 mins + reading time): Access the voting form here, read the Candidate Pack here and cast your votes.
Option B (2 mins): Nominate a proxy to cast a vote on your behalf using the voting form here or by using the sentence below in an email to Spence Club (you just need to fill in the missing information): “I nominate [the Chair of the Spence Club Board] OR [the following Spence Club Member: (insert name)] who is attending the AGM to be my proxy. I confirm that I agree for my vote be exercised in the same manner as my proxy.”
We need to receive your votes or proxy nomination by 5pm, Tuesday 14 October 2025.
We’re calling on our valued members of Spence Club to have a say and play their part in shaping this extraordinary, unique and important South Australian organisation. (You must be a current member to vote. Votes received from non-members will not be counted).

This is also an invitation to attend the (free) online AGM if you’ve not yet registered! At this important event, we'll release our Annual Report and you’ll hear from our Board - including our Chair and Treasurer - about our achievements in 2024-25, what we have planned for 2025-26, and our ambitions for 2026-27 and beyond.
